This session involved one of my favorite props to date… a gorgeous vintage truck!

This session goes down in the record books as one of my top three favorites of all times! The location and the couple were gorgeous and mother nature was very generous with her beauty. I would take at least three of these October snowstorms each year if I could!

First, let me say welcome to any and all new visitors who stopped by my table at last night’s Liv with Autism Foundation’s Shopping for a Cause event. It was so great to meet new people and share my love of photography with them!

Now, let’s get to the real reason for this post! It’s time to showcase another great session. These two cuties are dear friends of my husband and I. And it’s an honor to capture their spirit each year. And while I almost blew this session by not checking my Facebook messages (I didn’t get them in my email…) I am so glad it all worked out. And the youngest really took a liking to my Megan who joined us on the shoot. It was hard to tear them apart. They had their own conversations in their own young one’s language! I wish I had it on video.

High school graduates-to-be may be one of my favorite subjects to photograph! We had so much fun, the session was near effortless! A willing subject, gorgeous locations.. what more could you ask for as a photographer!

It was a great pleasure and honor to spend a morning with this family. I hadn’t seen or talked to Momma in a long time, since high school. The kids were great sports, and endured the morning of location changes like troopers. I really hope to make this an annual tradition!

Thank you, Mom and Dad for a great day, and you have a beautiful family!

One thing I love to do is encourage kids to try photography! Yes, I handed my expensive camera to a young boy, but guess what… he loved it!

One of my favorite type of sessions is Engagement! Capturing the love between two people, in an intimate location just makes sense. I love stalking them on our adventures at each location and seeing them smile, laugh and snuggle. I am looking forward to their wedding in May!

Having been married on October 11th, myself. I can completely appreciate an October wedding. This year I was trusted to capture the memories from two very special October weddings! First up, October 8th! With no detail left to chance, this wedding was elegant, fun, beautiful and full of great moments to capture!

I cannot lie and say this was an easy day to document. It was beautiful and challenging. Changing light conditions, lots of action and just the length of the day made it a challenge. But I loved every minute of it and I am very grateful to the couple for trusting myself and GAC Photography to document their special day.

Engaged! – October 1, 2011

Postponed once for rain… we were determined to make this session happen on Saturday. Changed the start time to avoid the forecasted afternoon rain. And we made it! Could not have asked for better weather, or a more beautiful couple. Truly enjoyed this session, hardly felt like work at all. And that is the blessing of doing something you love everyday.

Every time I attend a bridal shower, I am awed by the thoughtfulness, creativity and planning that has gone into the day. This beautiful shower was no exception. The details were so beautiful, rustic, natural, gorgeous! And the food! Amazing!

And what a gorgeous bridal party! Can’t wait for the wedding February!
